| E. Peter Jacobs,
C.A.E., Advisor (past editor)
My name is Peter Jacobs,
and I work with Marcy as editor of The Unboxed Brain.
I am a coach, a trainer, a speaker, a writer, a poet and a
photographer. I also do a lot of the background work
on our website, and other administrative areas of Coaching
Toys. I spent my high school and university years working
with the YMCA in everything from scuba instruction to Camp
Direction to Youth Leadership Development. Following
school, I spent three years in the photographic industry,
and 25 years in top management of national trade and professional
associations, working closely with senior executives from
a variety of industries and fields. Three years ago,
my career took a shift when I discovered the field of personal
and executive coaching. I originally connected with
the work as something to add to my toolkit as a manager and
leader. I fell in love with the transformative power
of the work. The rest, as they say, is history.
I am a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute, and of
the yearlong leadership-training program through Co-Active
Space (where I met Marcy). To find out more about my
coaching practice, visit

Brain Tinglers
Coaching Toys is the place to find fun, innovative ideas and
creative approaches. Our ezine The UnBoxed
Brain features articles by or about those in the field
doing pioneering work. There will be a self-expressed corner
featuring art or poetry and there will often be a spotlight
on a community service project. In our regular segment called
Sparkers you will find great ideas for client structures,
homework or experientials, complete with how-to's. We will
be continually creating and expanding to serve you.
Opportunities
This is one of the most exciting aspects of Coaching Toys
Inc. We connect with other professionals who are aligned with
our calling and create avenues for increased visibility within
the community. If you have created a product that you think
fits we would love to have a conversation with you. We also
seek writers for our feature articles.
